Apply cool compresses to alleviate these.

Moderate limitations: 2-3 days after treatment you may experience mild discomfort

Recommendations

4 hours after treatment:

  • Avoid massaging and pressure on the treated area

24 hours after treatment:

  • Do not apply make-up to the lip area
  • avoid consuming hot drinks and food
  • Avoid kissing and smoking

48 hours after treatment:

  • Limit visits to the sauna, solarium and intense physical activity

Prevention:

  • Mild swelling and tenderness for the first 2-3 days are common; apply cool compresses to relieve them.
  • Moisturise your lips regularly and protect them from the sun.

Contraindications

Possible complications

The treatment is not suitable for people who:

  • With allergy to hyaluronic acid
  • With an active cold sore or infection in the lip area
  • In pregnancy and while breastfeeding

Possible complications are rare and may include:

  • Swelling, redness or bruising at the application site
  • Asymmetry or unevenness of the lips
  • A doctor should be contacted if significant redness, itching or signs of infection appear days later, or if hardening occurs in the area of application.
