Preparation before treatment

  • Blood collection: 8-10 ml of blood is drawn from the vein (as in a conventional blood collection)
  • Separation of blood plasma from the rest of the blood: platelet-rich plasma is obtained in a special machine
  • Application of anaesthetic cream to increase comfort

The treatment itself

  • Length: Approximately 60 minutes
  • Procedure:The plasma can be injected into the treatment area using microneedles or a cannula

Number of repetitions

  • It is advisable to repeat the application of plasma approximately 3 times, usually one treatment per month. The resulting effect lasts approximately 6-12 months. It is therefore advisable to repeat applications every 6-12 months depending on the severity of the problem.

Aftercare

Minimal restrictions: you can return to normal activities immediately after treatment.

Recommendations

48 hours after treatment:

  • Avoid physical exertion
  • Increased hydration and regular drinking regime

7 days after treatment:

  • Do not expose treated areas to sunlight and extreme temperatures
  • Skip laser and peeling skin treatments
  • Do not visit the sauna, solarium and swimming pool

Prevention:

  • Regular use of moisturizers is recommended.

Contraindications

Possible complications

The treatment is not suitable for people who:

  • With a blood disorder or bleeding disorder
  • With active infection at the site of application
  • With some autoimmune diseases

Possible complications are rare and may include:

  • Slight redness, bruising and swelling after application
