Minimum restrictions: You can return to normal activities immediately after treatment.

Recommendations

24 hours after treatment:

  • Protect the treated area from mechanical irritation.

7 days after treatment:

  • After laser or electrocautery: Do not attempt to peel the crumb, let it fall off naturally.
  • In case of surgical excision, avoid sporting activities until healing

The following months after the treatment:

  • Protect the area from the sun, apply creams with high SPF.

Contraindications

Possible complications

The treatment is not suitable for people who:

  • With active skin infections
  • In pregnancy or while breastfeeding
  • With healing disorders – in the formation of keloid scars

Possible complications are rare and may include:

  • Mild redness or swelling
  • Formation of scabs or larger scars (especially after surgical removal)
  • Infection in case of inadequate care
  • Exceptionally, in persons with a tendency to scar more, the so-called Keloid may occur.
