Breast reconstruction

Breast reconstruction after removal/loss

Are you facing breast reconstruction after cancer treatment?
Trust the experts at Perfect Clinic to help you solve the problem.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROCEDURE

What is breast reconstruction?

Breast reconstruction is a plastic surgery that replaces breast tissue removed as part of cancer treatment (mastectomy or partial ablation). The procedure can take place either immediately, at the same time as the tumour is removed, or delayed, usually several months to years after treatment. Either the patient’s own tissue (e.g. from the abdomen) or a breast implant is used for reconstruction. Thanks to our experts, modern methods and approach, the results look natural and are safe and gentle, taking both your health and appearance into account.

In our clinic we use only implants with the highest safety and quality certifications. The implants can be round or anatomical (drop-shaped), they are inserted under the skin or muscle and are selected individually with regard to symmetry with the other breast, aesthetics and body proportions.

In case of lack of skin at the reconstruction site, a flap from the surrounding area (e.g. from the side of the chest) can be used and the implant inserted underneath. Alternatively, reconstruction with the patient’s own tissue is chosen, which has the advantage of a natural result without the use of foreign materials.
