Instructions before the procedure under local anaesthesia

We do not require blood draws for operations under local anaesthesia. If the client is being treated for something, this is at the discretion of the surgeon.

Meals and preparation before the procedure:

  • You can eat and drink on the day of the procedure
  • Do not drink coffee at least 6 hours before the procedure
  • Do not smoke at least 24 hours before the procedure

What to bring:

  • Completed and signed documentation for the surgery that you received during your consultation with the doctor
  • ID card or other proof of identity
  • Additional payment of the procedure price – we prefer payment by card, cash is also possible

Important information:

  • If you are taking blood thinners or have a serious illness, contact us immediately
  • Remove all piercings and jewellery – ideally leave them at home

Hygiene measures:

  • Completely shaved area where the procedure will be performed
  • Creams and deodorants: do not use on the day of the procedure on the treated areas

 

Warning for vascular surgery procedures:

If you are taking hormonal contraception, it is necessary to stop the medication 14 days before the procedure. Contraception can be used again only 6 weeks after the procedure.

 

Discharge after the procedure

  • Discharge takes place immediately after the procedure
  • We recommend that you arrange an escort
