Jan Kastner, M.D., Ph.D. specializes in ENT procedures and sleep medicine at Perfect Clinic.
He is a graduate of the First Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University, ENT. He is the chairman of the Association of Ambulatory Otorhinolaryngologists and Phoniatrists, a member of the Czech Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, the German ENT Society and the European Rhinological Society. He worked for two years at the ENT clinic of the Guttenberger University in Mainz, and had shorter internships in Switzerland, Japan and the USA.
He is also involved in the field of rhinology (endoscopic surgery and functional-aesthetic surgery of the nose), head and neck ultrasound, sleep medicine, including the treatment of snoring. He continues to educate and improve his skills by participating in many professional courses and congresses not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad (USA, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, etc.).
He is a supervisor of postgraduate studies at the Charles University, lectures and publishes both in the Czech Republic and abroad. He has a private practice in Beroun, and also works as an operator in the hospital in Hořovice.
