Dr. Jan Kučera is the chief dermatologist and co-owner of Perfect Clinic Dermatology. He is dedicated to aesthetic dermatology and minimally invasive procedures. He specializes in facial treatments, instrumental treatments and combined treatment techniques. He regularly participates in international congresses as a lecturer or as part of his own training.
He graduated from the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague. Already during his studies he started to focus on dermatology, he studied part of his fifth year in France and also completed two one-month clinical internships in Africa.
After graduation, he joined the Dermatovenerology Clinic of the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University, where he obtained a certificate in dermatovenerology. There he worked on the whole spectrum of dermatovenerology. He completed international fellowships in Toulouse, Lübeck, Salzburg, Budapest and Barcelona.
Parallel to his clinical practice, he started his scientific career at the Anatomical Institute of the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University. He focused on the research of intercellular interactions in skin tumours and skin fibroblasts. He has published in impacted journals and after defending his dissertation he received his Ph.
At the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University he is an assistant professor of dermatovenerology, where he lectures to 4th year students of general and dental medicine.
